TERMS & CONDITIONS
As Metro Designer Cake is a boutique studio, we only take on a certain amount of orders per week. To secure your date, a NON REFUNDABLE retainer of 50% must be paid. On receiving your order, your booking will then be confirmed with an invoice. Your booking is only acknowledged once the retainer is paid. The remaining 50% must be made 1 week prior to your event. Wedding cakes MUST be paid for in full 1 month prior to the wedding. Bookings made with less than 1 weeks notice must be paid for in full prior to commencement of the order.
Covid-19 CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event that we go into lockdown at the time of your event, your deposit will be moved to an alternate date, only once I have received an email from you confirming that you will need to postpone the event due to Covid-19 restrictions. This must be done with a minimum of 3 days’ notice.
Should you cancel your event completely (reasons due to Covid-19 ) only 50% of your deposit will be eligible for refund.
